Hannah Giles: Fearless ACORN Slayer

Hannah Giles

Recently Hannah Giles and her companion, James O'Keefe made national news by exposing corruption at the Baltimore office of ACORN. This was widely reported on FOX News while the rest of the MSM media remain silent. The silence of the MSM just reaffirms what many already know, that those in the MSM will do everything in their power to protect the president of the United States who is closely allied with ACORN. The corruption within ACORN is matched by those "so-called" reporters at MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, The New York Times and many others---so be it, the truth still came out despite their silence.

These two young people, Hannah and James have done what no other politician or group of politicians has been able to do. Next year when the census takers come to your home, to count you and yours, you will NOT have to look into the ugly face of ACORN. ACORN will not be assisting with the census thanks to Hannah and James. Every American regardless of party affiliation should thank these brave young people, who by their actions have helped to expose this cancer, this despicable bunch of crooks, liars, cheats, and political cronies of the American left. They two have literally put their lives in danger and I contend they are marked people, and targets of ACORN goons.

And now if you can believe it,the state of Maryland may charge these two young people with crimes instead of going after the thugs and scum in ACORN. If the prosecutor in Maryland proceeds to charge these two a cry will go up that surely will be heard at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. See details of this Maryland story below:

Maryland may charge ACORN video-makers, State's Prosecutor heads anti-child abuse group
James O'Keefe, the intrepid filmmaker who teamed with National Journalism Center intern Hannah Giles in the ACORN video sting, now faces the prospect of being prosecuted by the Baltimore City State's Attorney for violating a Maryland that makes it illegal to tape an individual without their prior permission.

If he is convicted, O'Keefe could spend five years in the Maryland State Prison. Yes, you read that right. Here's the complete statement issued late yesterday by the prosecutor, Patricia Jessamy: read full story

  1. Ya know, a law like that makes you wonder, do the police or FBI have to get permission to tape an undercover sting??

That sounds like a deal breaker in court to me, not to mention, I don't think a jury would convict on this, unless they *load* the jury...

  2. Remember too that for years the program "60 Minutes" was renowned for doing exactly what these two patriots did! Hidden Cameras and the "Gotcha" in showing people the truth.

These two are heroes in my book, doing what our government should be doing and won't.

Love your blog SF. I see you are a Civil War enthusiast! I consider myself a well read, semi-historian. I really got my interest peaked when I found out two of my great, great grandfathers served in the CSA. I wanted to join the United Daughters of the Confederacy but the small chapter here in Indiana went belly up I believe. They never answered my inquiries. Imagine that!!! LOL!!!

  4. Yes HAM, many news organizations have used these tactics in the past and some continue to do so today. I do have some interest in the Civil War period, but primarily my interest is in the years leading up to the great conflict 1850-1860.

  6. "Civil War", I prefer the "War for Southern Independence" and will accept the "War Between the States".

  7. I heard about this earlier today, it's a crying shame if they try to prosecute these two. She is the actress and he is the producer/movie maker. Think of them as the honest alternative to Michael Moore, only reputable.

They have a great future ahead of them, because they are UNIQUE in what they are doing, no one else is doing any undercover investigative journalism. That a thing of the past.

What the Left resorts to these days is hacking websites of people like Joe Wilson, so that he cannot receive donations from Republicans/Conservatives for five hours. Skanky Left.

  8. We owe these two more than we can ever repay---this could very well be the beginning of the end for ACORN.

  9. Ron, I thought all this time it was the "War of Northern Aggression."

ACORN is wounded, and will lash out in any way they can. Ironically, they will show more of their own colors in that lashing out. I would say that it would be fun to watch, but they're going to ruin some people in the process. If the legal thing fails, the frivolous lawsuits will begin.

  10. You know, Ron...the MSM doesn't really report real news, so naturally this story isn't on their radar screen.

  11. Northern Aggression sounds good to me Matt. I worry about the safety of the two ACORN slayers---hope they have good security, for they will need it.

  12. You are right Dr Dave, this is definately a back-burner story with the MSM. However, I did catch a spot on CNN (forget which show) where the focus was on the supposely wrong doing of Hannah and James and completely side-stepped the criminality of ACORN.

  13. What an outrage! These people should be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom but instead they may just get the shaft. The American people owe these two a debt of gratitude for stopping one of the most corrupt organizations in America from having any say in congressional representation.

  14. Can you see Obama pinning that medal on them! We owe them more, more than we can ever repay!

  15. I stand corrected...

Ron was a participant in The war of Northern Aggression...

  16. Missed the major war battles---too young, but got into the fray after the great conflict and rode with General Nat in the Mississippi Delta.

  17. That would be one of my favorite CSA Generals, Nathan Bedford Forrest. He was the definition of a strong leader in my book, as he lead by both example and not measuring his words. I still laugh when I think about his telling off Braxton Bragg. That man should have never been put in a position of power in the Western theater. And to think, my son is stationed at the fort named after that worthless man!!!

I kind of like the War of northern aggression or the second war of Independence. I have come to think of Abe Lincoln not only as the first President elected as a member of the Republican party, but also the first RHINO as well. I'll only explain that if someone asks though.
