Here we go again, the administration is planning to establish a new government agency, one that will answer to the president, to report on what Gary Locke the secretary of commerce has already said, "that climate change is a real threat". We all know that the climate is changing, its been changing since the beginning of time, before man walked the earth, before the first microbes swam in the seas. This is just another effort on the part of government to control the message and try and get ahead of the firestorm causes by climategate. These global warming fanatics are grasping at straws in what will turn out to be a vain attempt to sway public opinion again. Those who believe in global warming will not go quietly into the night, moves such as this show their desperation and perhaps the dying quiver of their once popular movement.
Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and Jane Lubchenco, head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, announced NOAA will set up the new Climate Service to operate in tandem with NOAA's National Weather Service and National Ocean Service.
"Whether we like it or not, climate change represents a real threat," Locke said Monday at a news conference.
Lubchenco added, "Climate change is real, it's happening now." She said climate information is vital to the wind power industry, coastal community planning, fishermen and fishery managers, farmers and public health officials.
NOAA recently reported that the decade of 2000-2009 was the warmest on record worldwide; the previous warmest decade was the 1990s. Many atmospheric scientists believe that global warming is largely due to human actions, adding gases to the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas.read more from FOX News
We already have a Czar for this, so it only makes sense to establish a agency funded by the taxpayers to study this.
ReplyDeleteGet over it, Obama. Who cares? Even if it is getting hotter, so what? It was getting cooler just 20 years ago and we didn't start an agency to study that.
It's a natural climate cycle.

This bears watching.
ReplyDeleteOn the one hand, it would be a good sign if we cut ourselves loose from the UN IPCC with the chicanery they tried to foist off on us with the AR4 and start collecting our own data.
On the other hand, if the mission goes beyond collecting data and ventures off into assigning causes--especially, assigning human activity as the cause of global warming--then we can reasonably conclude this action is just another Progressive ploy to hijack the Nation.
CZARS CZARS everywhere, and not a brain between em...
ReplyDeleteRon, the climate just changed here. The sun is out. This morning it was cloudy. Last week it was 40 degrees, today it's barely 20 something. heh
ReplyDeleteThis is a new agency, more new jobs, more money we don't have, for a hoax.

as u say my friend..HERE WE GO AGAIN!!
ReplyDeleteAnother useless government program/agency wasting the American people's money.
ReplyDeleteI would expect nothing less...
ReplyDeleteInstead of ordering investigations into the climategate scandal this administration is looking to head of the scandal. Obama has his agenda and the more that the tide turns away from the global warming hoax, the more determined he seems to be to defend it. Is it arrogance or stubborness? Or both?
ReplyDeleteHe is determined to ram this down our throats.
More distractions from real problems to imaginary ones.
ReplyDeleteAsk the east Coast if they want
ReplyDeleteto head up this new agency.
Just anothe ploy to get more
workers addicted to the
nanny state in a horrendous
way from birth, school,
work to death. Stupid asshat
libtarded progressives.
The dishonest bast**ds aren't going to give up on this cash-cow, are they?
ReplyDeleteYes! Just what we all wanted, another government agency! BO is the man that keeps on giving!
ReplyDeleteJust about everyone out there is studying climate change or the effects of climate change on x, y and z. It's one of the few ways to get research money that you don't really deserve.
ReplyDeleteI'll be citing this post over the weekend in my weekend-funny feature.
