"Remember the Alamo" Then and "Remember 3/21" Now!

Flags Most in this country know the phrase, "Remember the Alamo" and certainly all Texans know that rallying battle cry! The defeat at the Alamo marked the beginning of the war for Texas independence. A war that would end with the crowning victory at San Jacinto and an independent and free Texas. Yesterday in Washington the forces of individualism suffered a great defeat at the hands of the over-whelming forces in the House combined with the might of the Executive Branch. The two hundred or so beleaguered members of the House could not withstand the onslaught of the vast army arrayed against them. Their walls were breached by back room deals, presidential promises and favors, and blatant bribery on a scale never seen before in American politics. In the end they were overwhelmed and crushed and their flag of patriotism trampled beneath the tyrant's feet. But from the ashes of that defeat, a new battle cry will be heard, a new call to arms. Just as the Texans of long ago screamed "remember the Alamo" as they charged the forces of tyranny; the ever growing forces of Individualism, of Patriotism will raise a new battle cry: "Remember 3/21" as they drive the forces of collectivism and Marxism from the field and achieve that Crowning Victory!

  1. I heard Krauthammer say last night that the legislation will not be repealed. He has been wrong more than once.

Now, we must go forward and repeal it. The good thing about this is, attorneys and states have had a long time to look at the base of these bills. They know it is unconstitutional.

I think they will be ready to go - ready to file - sooner rather than later. That's important because this country needs to know this new law will not stand, and the longer it takes to file the suits, the more oppressive it becomes.

    I'll remember the Alamo.

  3. I think Krauthammer was relying on Congress' historical gutlessness when he made his statement. But, this bill may not need to be repealed outright; only the most odious features. Harkin compared the bill to a starter home that is added on to over time. That cuts both ways. Once constitutional government is restored in Washington, this law can be hammered and molded into legitimate health care reform.

  4. Thanks Ron, I came into work this morning telling one of my fellow workers how sorry I was that his birthday was going to go down in history as "the day America died"...

I like your version much better...

  8. Victory will be ours in November as long as people remember this, and I think that they will. People have short attention spans nowadays, but I think this is different, we must take back congress and end this radical agenda.
    REMEMBER 3/21!

  11. WE THE PEOPLE are enraged right now.

    And rightly so.

We must maintain that anger or BHO wins.
