ITS QUITE STRANGE THAT AN OBSCURE ROCK LAYING FLAT ON THE GROUND IN WEST TEXAS HAS GAINED SUCH PUBLIC ATTENTION. NO ITS NOT THE ROCK ITSELF, BUT WHAT WAS PAINTED ON IT MANY YEARS AGO "NIGGERHEAD". NO PHOTOS CAN BE FOUND OF THIS ROCK, BUT I HAVE NO DOUBTS ABOUT ITS EXISTENCE. "NIGGERHEADS" OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT CAN BE FOUND ALL OVER THE WORLD. CHECK OUT THIS LINK FOR A PARTIAL LIST Niggerhead Places Around the World . THE SIMPLE TRUTH HERE IS ITS NOT THE OLD ROCK, BUT THE MAN LOOSELY CONNECTED TO THE ROCK, NAMELY A REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT ONE RICK PERRY GOVERNOR OF TEXAS. WAS PERRY AWARE OF WHAT WAS WRITTEN ON THE ROCK? WAS HE AWARE THAT THE NAME HAD BE PAINTED OVER? YES, TO BOTH! THE TRUTH HERE IS THIS WAS A HIT PIECE AIMED AT DISCREDITING SOMEONE WHO MAY RUN AGAINST BARACK OBAMA IN THE GENERAL ELECTION. IF THE ROCK IN QUESTION HAD "NEGROHEAD OR EVEN BLACKHEAD" PAINTED ON IT THE RESULTS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME. ITS NOT ABOUT WHAT WAS PAINTED ON THE ROCK, BUT ABOUT PAINTING RICK PERRY AS A RACIST!!!!
Politics is such a nasty business. Shame on the folks that do this type of thing. Shame on them.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. :)
Yep, racist or anything that'll make obama's opponent look bad. Just as i predicted, the msm might criticize obama occasionally, but ultimately they are his lapdogs, ready to polish ass and lick boots when called.
ReplyDeleteDid I forget to mention I live a couple of miles from "Negro Canyon"? Does that make me a racist?
ReplyDeleteAnd years ago on my trips to Mexico I drank oso negro vodka---damn I'm a racist--wish they would have had oso blanco!!!
ReplyDeleteThis made me dislike Cain even more. It was on the rock when Perry's family bought the land. His dad soon painted over it. If anything it shows that his family is not racist, but Herman "the bankster" Cain jumped all over this.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised to see the word "nigger" used as a placename throughout the former British Empire since it is not an English word, it is an American one that we adopted only with the arrival here of many negroe soldiers in the US forces during WW2.
ReplyDeleteMy great grandma was an unwitting racist but she confined herself to 'blackies', 'darkies' or sometimes 'wogs'.
That same de-racism disease is at work here too with a favorite pub "The Green Man & Blacks Head" losing the second part of its name even though the associated figurines clearly show a Green Man and an Arab.
"Blackboy Road" somehow survives, though actually it refers to child chimney sweeps (which Right Wing plutocrat Conservatives abolished btw).
Cain should have learned the facts before commenting.
ReplyDeleteIn Maryland we have a Negro Mountain.
Why is the word "negro" which means black considered racist by blacks? This makes no sense. You'd think they'd be proud that so many things are honoring blacks.
