Ambrosia for the Morlocks

H/T to Moonbattery
The upside of being a good little Democrat (Eloi)--- the material necessities of life.  But at some point they will become ambrosia for their masters (the Morlocks).

For some reason the plight of the Eloi in the land of the Morlocks reminds me of the theme from Melville's Moby Dick:
"Call me Ishmael" Perhaps the most famous opening line of any great novel. And we all know the story of Moby Dick, some however may not understand the meaning. The fateful quest of Captain Ahab, his search for the great white whale, Moby Dick. Democrats has boarded the Pequod and have set sail to find their arch enemy, Individualism. They are  joined not by Queequeg, but by the likes of 'Chuck and Nancy with harpoons in hand. We all like Ishmael, watch the journey, and wait to see the final battle. The battle that will end only when one is "no longer". We read the lines as the USA slips through the changing currents and tides of onrushing events and wonder where the chase will end. In Moby Dick, Ahab is caught by fate, a fate that was sealed long before he sailed; and Democrats along with their Eloi followers have charted the same course. A course laid down many years before, but a course they are destined to follow to the end. The lines from the harpoon entangle the Morlocks, and their webs of deceit as only spun a trap that will destroy them in the end. The great Moby Dick of American individualism will be free again.

I suppose the question is:  Is man the master of his own fate or is he just adrift on some windswept sea destined to be a victim of it's elements?
