SOME HAVE BEEN WONDERING WHY THE FIRST LADY WENT TO CHINA? PERHAPS IT WAS TO SEE THE GREAT WALL, AFTER ALL IT WAS BUILT BY SLAVE LABOR. OR MAYBE SHE HAD A DARKER MOTIVE, THAT WAS REVEALED IN HER SPEECH AT PEKING UNIVERSITY. POOR MICHELLE, SHE CAN'T HELP HERSELF---INSTEAD OF PROMOTING WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT AMERICA LIKE HER HUSBAND SHE CONTINUED TO BASH THE LAND THAT HAS GIVEN HER SO MUCH. OF COURSE SHE POINTED TO THE OLD JIM CROW LAWS, LAWS THAT WERE NOT EVEN IN EFFECT WHEN SHE WAS BORN. AND HOW SHE WAS PERSONALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AS A STUDENT AT PRINCETON AND HARVARD. THEN, OF COURSE, SHE HAD TO MENTION THE TIME WHEN HER FAMILY HAD TO LIVE PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK DURING THOSE YEARS WHEN SHE WAS A HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR WITH ONLY A SIX DIGIT INCOME AND OFTEN HAD TO PASS ON THE CAVIAR. THEN FINALLY HOW THE FIRST DAY SHE WAS PROUD OF HER COUNTRY, WAS THE DAY HER HUSBAND WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT. MICHELLE WOULD CONTEND THAT BARACK WAS ELECTED DESPITE BEING BLACK, I WOULD CONTEND HE WAS ELECTED BECAUSE BEING BLACK. AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE. IMAGE BY THE PEOPLES CUBE

She was never a slave and I was never an owner.
ReplyDeleteWhat Odie said. Spot on. Both of them could have done so much more to bring Americans together. Instead they played the race care and the finger pointing, Bush is to blame, and the poor me crap. Dismal failures the both of them. They can vacation and spend the taxpayers money though.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
