Last weeks Democratic Party Primary in South Carolina for the United States Senate was won by a virtually unknown who got some 60% of the vote. Democratic Party officials are scratching their heads and attempting to explain the victory of one, Alvin Greene, a person that some in the party are now claiming is intellectually incapable of running in the general election in November.
His election was anything but surprising to some astute observers who have long know the quality, or lack thereof, of many Democratic Party voters and candidates. If elected Alvin will be right at home in the Democratic Caucus in the Senate where his intellectual prowess will equal or surpass that of any member.
