Dead Men Tell No Tales!

Obama is increasingly using drones to attack and kill al Qaeda leaders in Pakistan and other places. Often in the past the CIA and other agencies have sought to capture these various leader in order to obtain valuable information about their networks and future plan of attack. These practices seem to have been put on hold for some reason. There is nothing wrong in killing these leaders where ever they are found, but at the same time we should remain aware that when we kill them important information also dies.

The question seems to be is president Obama afraid to use enhanced interrogation methods in order to obtain information and that being the case has decided to kill them where they are found and disregard the fact that, "dead men tell no tales"!

To be sure, unmanned drones are critical in the struggle against al Qaeda. They allow the United States to reach terrorists hiding in remote regions where it would be difficult for special operations forces to reach them, or to act on perishable intelligence when the only choice is to kill a terrorist or lose him. Constantly hovering Predator (or Reaper) drones also have a psychological effect on the enemy, forcing al Qaeda leaders to live in fear and spend time focusing on self-preservation that would otherwise be used planning the next attack. All this is for the good.

The problem is that Obama is increasingly using drone strikes as a substitute for operations to bring terrorist leaders in alive for questioning -- and that is putting the country at risk. As one high-ranking CIA official explained to me, in an interview for my book Courting Disaster, "In the wake of 9/11, [the CIA] put forward a program that had a lethal component to strike back at the people who did this. But the other component was to prevent this kind of catastrophe from happening again. And for that, killing people -- especially killing senior al Qaeda leaders -- is potentially counterproductive in that we can't know or learn of future attacks. You can't kill them all, and you don't want to kill them all from an intelligence standpoint. We needed to know what they knew." FOX News

The Enemy is Islam!

Terror in the sky's on Christmas Day. Not that some needed a reminder, but another radical Islamist tried to blow up a plane again and on a Christian holy day. It was only his lack of knowledge that prevented this attack from being successful and was not due in any part to the government of this country which was, as usual asleep at the wheel.

Umar Abdulmutallab, a wealthy Muslim determined that Allah wanted him to kill Christians on Christmas Day. Obama finally spoke on the attack after days of silence. And managed to utter that word he hates, "terror" briefly, but at the same time refused to connect the day and Islam with the attack. I suppose to him, the date was merely a coincidence, you and I know better.

Despite overwhelming evidence the president and those around him refuse to link terrorism with Islam and continue to tell us that Islam is a religion of peace. The president and those around him are blinded by political correctness and their Utopian belief in multiculturalism. Our state department will NOT link terrorism to Islam despite hundreds of attacks over many years. Our troops stand down on Islamic holidays while a terrorist like Abdulmutallab chooses our holy day to attack. If one of our soldiers in anyway defaces the Koran he is subject to swift military justice. Our leaders insist again and again that the terrorist who attack us don't represent Islam when everyone knows that's a lie.

Our so-called experts on terror agonize over whether this terrorist or that terrorist is a member of al Qaeda. That's not even important because we are dealing with a world wide Muslim movement. We have managed to tie ourselves down in Afghanistan while the enemy remains mobile. While we insist on holding ground in Afghanistan the enemy is advancing in Africa and Yemen. While our leaders point to the slums of the Muslim world as the breeding ground for terrorist they ignore the fact that most jihadis are coming from wealthy and middle class families. And yet, we continue digging wells and building schools in Afghanistan in the foolish hope this will prevent the poor from joining the ranks of the terrorist. Its time to look at the universities and at the jet-set Muslim youth of the world. Our leaders need to quit lying to themselves and to us. The threat is real and the enemy is Islam.

Pakistani Police Arrest Five American Jihadist

The recent arrest of five American Muslims in Pakistan points out whats seems to be a growing trend, more and more Muslims in this country are becoming radicalized. This leads one to ask what is happening in the Muslim communities throughout this country. Are these young men being converted to Jihad in the hundreds of mosque that dot the American landscape, are they being turned to radicalism by their parents or friends, or is there something far more frightening at work here; are the actual words of the Koran leading these men to the gates of hell and not to the paradise its promises.

These latest converts to radicalism were not from some down trodden group, but rather students at some of our finest universities with one being a dental student. Some of the parents of these young students had contacted CAIR when they realized their sons were missing, and that organization put then in contact with the FBI and got them lawyers---they will need them!

These would be jihadist had gone to Pakistan with the hope of joining up with al Qaeda for the express purpose of fighting and killing Americans in the war in Afghanistan. Yes, these young men were born in this country and are legally Americans, but they are unAmerican in their thoughts and deeds, and by going as far as they did in what became a failed attempt to join up with al Qaeda they are guilty of treason and should be treated as traitors. It is fortunate that the Pakistani's got them over there, for if they had been arrested in this country there is a good possibility that the truth would have never surfaced about their intentions. The Pakistani have a way of getting information, a avenue that is now closed to American interrogators thanks to BHO. At the time of this post the government of Pakistan has not charged the five, but has indicated the students jihadists have confessed their intentions. Presently Pakistan has no intentions of deporting the young men back to this country. That is wonderful for we don't want them back. Let Pakistan handle this with a short trial and speedy justice, something that's missing in our judicial system. Read complete story.

Al Qaeda's Numbers Down Since Obama's Election?

SHOCKING, just as the numbers of homeless people sleeping under bridges always spikes during a Republican administration and then suddenly shrinks to almost nothing the day a Democrat moves into the Oval Office, the same thing in now happening to Al Qaeda, before the election last year we were hearing about the growing threat of Al Qaeda and its resurgence in Afghanistan, but now that Obama is in the White House amazingly the numbers have shrunk to a measly 100 fighters. It appears that the mere threat of "Obama the Terrible" has caused the cowardly Al Qaeda members to flee. Where do these insane numbers come from? And what is the purpose? Hell you already know the answer. We live in a age of spin and counter-spin and the truth takes a back seat to whatever reality is out there. The one undisputed truth about Afghanistan is that American soldiers are dying and the Command-in-Chief seems more interested in other things at this point in time.

30,000 U.S. Troops Not Fighting 100 Al Qaeda Terrorists, Officials Insist

Intelligence officials on Wednesday disputed suggestions that President Obama is sending 30,000 more troops just to fight 100 Al Qaeda operatives estimated to be remaining in Afghanistan, arguing that their influence with the Taliban makes them far more harmful than their numbers would indicate.

Intelligence officials on Wednesday disputed suggestions that President Obama is sending 30,000 more troops just to fight 100 Al Qaeda operatives estimated to be remaining in Afghanistan, arguing that their influence with the thousands-strong Taliban makes them far more harmful than their numbers would indicate.

The officials responded after an ABC News story referred to the intelligence community estimate on the number of Al Qaeda operatives in Afghanistan as "Obama's secret," and something he deliberately omitted mentioning in his speech Tuesday night.

Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., invoked the 100 figure in her response to Obama's Afghanistan strategy speech Tuesday night.

"I do not support adding more troops because there are now 200,000 American, NATO and Afghan forces fighting roughly 20,000 Taliban and less than 100 Al Qaeda," she said in a written statement.

But officials called any suggestion that the surge is meant to fight 100 terrorist operatives irresponsible.

While intelligence officials confirmed that only about 100 Al Qaeda operatives remain in Afghanistan and their "center of gravity" is in Pakistan, they said "their leadership works tightly with leaders of the Afghan Taliban."

In other words, the Taliban are taking orders from the few Al Qaeda members in the region. Between the two countries, there are only thought to be several hundred Al Qaeda members.

The Taliban follow a brutal version of strict Wahhabi Islamic law, banning all "un-Islamic" activity and committing numerous human rights violations, including restricting all freedom for women. Al Qaeda's goal to divorce all Muslim countries from foreign influence would be warmly received by a Taliban-led government in Afghanistan, as was the case in the 1990s.

Top officials on Wednesday defended Obama's surge decision, arguing that the U.S. military needs to take on the Taliban as a way to keep Afghanistan from falling into hands that Al Qaeda can exploit.

Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said the U.S. "cannot afford" to allow the Taliban to restore Al Qaeda's safe haven inside Afghanistan.

"The Taliban and Al Qaeda, while separate, are two peas in a pod," Rice told Fox News.

Top military officials have for months estimated that the actual number of Al Qaeda operatives in the region is small.

National Security Adviser Gen. James Jones said in an interview in October that Al Qaeda was "very diminished" in Afghanistan, that fewer than 100 were left, and that they were not able to launch attacks on the United States or its allies from the country. read more from FOX

Promoting Jihad From Prisons

The below story is about Jihadist being recruited from British prisons, this however is something that is found in our American penal system and is now being high-lighted by the movement of some terrorist to NYC and the proposed plan to move a hundred or more to a prison in Illinois. Just in the past year we had a fatal attack on an American soldier in Little Rock by an individual who was a recent convert to radical Islam while in prison. This is a problem that many know about, but one that most politicians choose to avoid in the name of political correctness. Those who call for GITMO to be shut down because of world opinion may soon have to worry about American opinion if an attack is caused by these terrorist being moved to American prisons. Many on the left worry about world opinion and care little about what most Americans think. Americans do not rely on other nations for our security and never have. We must look to ourselves and not seek the approval of our actions elsewhere. Those who would toss aside traditions and set policies to gain favor from other nations are living in a fools paradise for in the real world each nation must, in the end look to them self for their survival. For in trying to please everyone we please none and fall into our enemies trap of self-destruction.
Some of Britain’s most dangerous Al Qaeda leaders are promoting jihad from inside high-security prisons by smuggling out propaganda for the internet and finding recruits, the Sunday Times reported.

In an authoritative report, Quilliam, a think tank funded by the Home Office, claims “mismanagement” by the Prison Service is helping Al Qaeda gain recruits and risks “strengthening jihadist movements,” according to the paper.

Abu Qatada, described by MI5 as “Osama Bin Laden’s right-hand man in Europe,” has published fatwas — religious rulings — on the internet from Long Lartin prison, in Worcestershire, England, calling for holy war and the murder of moderate Muslims, it reveals, the paper reported.

Abu Doha — said to be Al Qaeda’s main recruiter in Europe — has taken courses in Belmarsh prison, south London, enabling him to mentor other inmates.

Abu Hamza, jailed in 2006 for inciting murder, has preached radical sermons to followers using water pipes in his Belmarsh cell, and Rachid Ramda, the Algerian leader of the Paris Métro bomb plot, led Friday prayers in the same jail, the paper reported. Source FOX News
