Are You Looking for Obama's Nuts

Save your nuts before the government gets you by the balls.By Ron Russell

I recall as a young man I often went into the woods on a cold fall mornings in search of the illusive country squirrel. They were hard to find--guess they knew they were meat for the table (fried squirrel was a treat is those days--no joke!). I do recall one thing about those old country squirrels, especially in the fall, they were always gathering nuts--one after another. I think they knew a hard time was coming.
I'm older now and live in the city. Sad to say, squirrel hunting days are over. I have noticed, however, that the squirrels here (city squirrels) don't gather nuts in the same way as their country cousins did. I'm sure some misguided progressive will say that's because of global warming--warmer winters and the squirrel doesn't have to prepare as much!! This conservative thinks otherwise--the city squirrel knows that even on cold winter days he can go to the park and someone on a nice park bench will give him a nut--or even a handful of them. Are you like the country squirrel--preparing for hard times, or like the city squirrel waiting for the Obama bailout.

What Do You See Here

Recently came across this unusual image. At first glance I saw only an old man and an old woman. But on closer examination I began to see many more things in the picture. Got me to thinking about how some people see things and others viewing the same image see something totally different. Today we are seeing the "Tea Parties" throughout this great country. Some see them in one way and the others see something totally different. The difference is astounding and hard to fathom. Many see what those around them see, many see what someone else tells them they are seeing, many see the forest and not the trees, many see the trees and not the forest, and some unfortunately see nothing. Many news outlets choose not to show the "Tea Parties" today and others decided to cover the events. Why? What is the reasoning behind the decisions of both sides---is one side in the pocket of the Democrats and the other favoring the Republicans. What are their motives? Checked out CNN, MSNBC, and FOX today just to see what was being shown. CNN and MSNBC had their usual political discussions on with pundents from the left and right, have to say mostly left. While FOX was showing the crowds of common people at the rallies. Had to ask myself, which was the most important, the crowds on the streets or the pundents in the studio---the answer is obvious and clear. And its becoming obvious and clear to me that many news organizations simply don't want you to see the complete, the full picture. They want you to see what they see, by showing you only what they decide is best. Not what is best for you, but what is best for them, what is best for the values they hold, what is best for their liberal ideology. Look at this picture closely, look closely so you can see what is really in front of you. Don't let others tell you what you see. Look for yourself.

Things Have Changed--Paradise Lost

In 1967 I was teaching at a small school on the banks of the Mississippi River in south Louisiana. I lived on the east bank of the river and the school was on the west bank. So each day I would ride the ferry back and forth (no bridge in that area at that time. In September the days were hot and after a long day in the classroom it was time to relax on the short trip home. I would stop at the little store on the west bank side and get a couple of cold beers for the trip across the river. It was a car ferry and in those days you could get out of your car on the trip across (you cannot leave your auto now---things have changed!). I would pop open one of those cold cans and enjoy it as I crossed the river with the wind blowing in my face, often standing next to a state trooper----things have changed. What would happen if I did that now---do you have to guess!! Things have changed. I mention these seemingly small things to point to something much bigger and far more dangerous than me sipping on a cold one while crossing the Mississippi. One by one our freedoms are being taken away in the name of public safety and political correctness. Far, far too many to speak of in this short piece. It was at the end of that school year that I took my first trip to the interior of Mexico (a car trip). I was single and full of life---it was an unbelievable experience. One of the first things I realized upon crossing the border and driving into the countryside was the unexpected freedom I experienced---what was the speed limit, it didn't matter (not that I drove excessively fast) I just didn't have to look over my shoulder should I drive a few miles over the limit. Yes, and the coke cans and an occasional beer can---out the window(boy is that bad by today's standards). It felt good, very good!!! I was free---free from the restraints of what was becoming a repressive society. And that was in the 1960's, if I would have known what was coming to this country I would have found a way to stay in Mexico. Yes, we have a great country, but it is becoming an old country. We are one of the oldest democracies in the world. It is known by those who study such things that the older a government becomes the more repressive it becomes----laws are continually being passed for public safety and political correctness. Our elected leaders think they must pass more and more laws each time they are in session----they always find a reason to pass this or that law for the good of all of us, when in reality its always for the good of some special group and at the expense of another. This is just the way it is. Eventually the system becomes so corrupt and repressive that the common man can stand it no more and their is revolution. It has happened over and over again though-out history. Yes, thing have changed so I say to you---THINGS NEED CHANGING!!!!!

Utopia Seen Through A Smokey Cloud

Recently, I came across a post on Sugar n Spice concerning a recent interview Obama gave to "60 Minutes". In the interview Obama is seen giggling and laughing and is called on it by the reporter, to which he replies "well you need a little gallows humor" or something to that effect. Glad he mentioned hanging and not some conservative---know that would have created something of a fire-storm. Sugar mentioned in her post that Barack looked and acted like he was high---the giggles, laughs, etc. Guess the truth will never be known---his actions did raise some eye-brows, however.

Anyway after reading Sugar's post and viewing the "60 Minutes" video, I got to thinking about by days some years ago and my frequent visits with Maryjane (marijuana). Often I would come in after a long hard day at the office change clothes and go to my friends house. There Tim, my friend, and I would relax and fire-up the old bong and enjoy the sultry Florida evening. During those long (and they were long) evenings we would discuss and solve most of the world's problems. However, I did notice the next day that all the solutions had slipped away and not to be retrieved until our next visit to Maryjanes place. During the trips Tim and I saw somethings differently--I would focus on the small (like looking at the details of the bark on a tree), while my friend would focus on the large (the whole forest and beyond). I was looking to the infinity of the small and he the infinity of the large. He often said, "where the big meets the small there you would find the answer to it all." Tim is gone now, died at the young age of 44. I miss my friend. Enough of the reminiscing, back to Sugar's post on Obama.

While reading Sugar's post I was reminded of Jonahan Swift's, Gulliver's Travels. And 3 or the 4 stories in his satire. The first being the best known of his visit to the land of the Lilliputians---the examination of the small and seemingly petty things in life. And next the visit to the land of the giants (the Brobdingnagians)---holding the magnifying glass up to the world and pointing out the imperfections. And finally, the land of the horses (the Houyhnhnms)---there Gulliver saw the perfection in nature, a Utopia. So as I read Sugar's post I was wondering what Obama was thinking of, if indeed, he was in a cloud of smoke--the Lilliputians, the Brobdingnagians, or the Houyhnhnms. Suddenly, the reality hit me---of course it was the Houyhnhnms! There he would have found his vision of a "Socialist Utopia." The perfect world which all liberals dream of and wish to impose on us all for our own good. Or maybe he sees something more ominous---he is Gulliver and we, well we are the Lilliputians.

To Kill An American

Written by an Australian Dentist
To Kill an American

You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

'An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish , Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian , or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion.. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.
An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return....

When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan ...

The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built AmericaSome of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11 , 2001 earning a better life for their families. It's been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So you can try to kill an American if you must.. Hitler did. So did General Tojo , and Stalin , and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Scent of Power

Often we take our small dog with us on trips in the car and like almost all dogs he loves to put his head out the window. Until the other day I had never really thought about why. Why do all dogs like to put their head out nose into the wind. Sometimes at home he will lay in front of the fan, but it seems no big deal to him. Yesterday, I had one of those "light bulb" moments. Its the scents--he's simply flooded with them as the car moves swiftly down the road. Dozens of new smells each and every second and the car speeds quickly along. It must be a super high for an animal with such a sensitive nose. It's probably too much for his little mind to understand--the thousands and thousands of changing scents. Strangely, this got me to thinking about our new president.

The high Obama must be feeling sensing all the reigns of power he now holds. The tens of thousands of people who rely on him directly for their employment, the hundreds of reporters who eagerly await to be called on by this "great" leader, the dozens of CEO's who tremble when their phone rings fearing it could be the White House issuing them a pink slip, the thousands who are eagerly awaiting an audience with "the one", the millions who await his next words coming from their "magic box", and yes even Chris Matthews awaiting that next wonderful tingle. Yes, Obama has his nose out the window and is getting high on the "Scent of Power", and like my little dog he will not tire of it. Someone will have to pull him away because the intoxication is irresistible, and like the dope addict, the fixes will have to get larger and larger to maintain this ecstasy the man is obviously feeling. So Americans get ready to write Obama bigger checks and get ready to give up more personal liberties. This addict needs it, he has the "Scent of Power".

Shovel Ready

What is: "Shovel-Ready" ?

By now you no doubt have heard the government discussion about "shovel ready" projects to stimulate the economy?

Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist Ramirez, Investor's Business Daily, offers his version here. He nails it.

Utopia and the Socialist

Last night while channel surfing I can across an old movie made back in the 1930's. Never caught the name, but did watch enough to grasp the theme. It was the old Utopian idea wrapped in the 1930's Hollywood love affair with communism and fascism, something that many today have either forgotten or never knew about. The movie got me to thinking about our present day situation and how it related to socialism, the state and Utopian thinking.

Most men dream of Utopia, their own personal utopia. The socialist also dreams of utopia, his vision of what every man should want. One dreams of a better life for himself and his family, the other plans on how to make HIS dream for others a reality. These two visions , at first glance, sound similar but the difference is staggering. The first sounds self-centered, but actually its the latter that falls into that category. One man, simply wants to live his life and go his own way, the other has what I call the herd mentality and must seek to control the lives of others in the group. And he will continually attempt to get those around him to adopt what his perceives to be "the right way". This puts the first man at a distinct disadvantage in this ongoing struggle. A good analogy would be a tug-a-war between two with one just trying to hold his position while the other attempts to pull him to his side. The outcome would, at first glance, appear to be obvious; however the first man does have one advantage---individual initiative. While those on the other side, for the most part are only the followers of some almost mystic leader.

Socialism, almost seems a victim of these leaders. They invariably pop up during times of economic turmoil and hardship. They present themselves as the ones with the solutions to the complicated problems of the day. And the masses hungry for answers, give these leaders the power to project their ideas, into some form of action. Usually the changes are sweeping and draconian, and enacted with little or no debate and the results at first are pleasing to the common man. But the leaders of these movements, being the Utopians they are, never seem to be satisfied with the changes they have brought about. For they are seeking a world that doesn't exist, except in their own minds. Not being able to bring about the changes they have dreamed of, they will turn to more and more desperate measures and in the end theirs will become a repressive and totalitarian state.

The quest for utopia can be a noble goal. One should, however always keep one thing in mind, "one man's Utopia is another man's hell."

Welfare Poem

I cross ocean, poor and broke,

Take bus, see employment folk.

Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to see welfare.

Welfare say, 'You come no more,
We send cash right to your door.'

Welfare checks, they make you wealthy,
Medicaid it keep you healthy!

By and by, I get plenty money,
Thanks to you, American dummy.

Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them 'come fast as you can.'

They come in turbans and Ford trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks!

They come here, we live together,
More welfare checks, it gets better!

Fourteen families, they moving in,
But neighbors' patience wearing thin.

Finally, white guy moves away,
Now I buy his house, and then I say,
'Find more aliens for house to rent.'
And in the yard I put a tent.

Send for family they just trash,
But they, too, draw the welfare cash!
Everything is very good,
And soon we own the neighborhood.

We have hobby-- it's called breeding,
Welfare pay for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?
We get free!
We got no bills!

Americans crazy!
They pay all year,
To keep welfare running here.

We think America darn good place!
Too darn good for white man race.
If they no like us, they can scram,
Got lots of room in Pakistan..

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also get an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Terrorist Meets 50cal. Sniper Rifle

zzzzzzzRifle.jpg

This is a highly trained American sniper with his 50 caliber rifle which is his best friend. His assignment is to protect the 'Green Zone' in Baghdad , Iraq (basically his job is prevent the terrorists from sneaking into the compound).

Below, we see Achmed. One day Achmed tried to breach the perimeter and got tagged from 1500 yards out. Note the vest laden with explosives!

Achmed won't be doing this anymore!

Aunt Lizza's Cowhorn

From an old memory--as a young boy(about 11 yrs old) I would often find myself walking from the big house(grandma's house) through the small pecan orchard to the share-croppers house on the other side. It was a very small three room home--no plumbing, (by the way our big house was also without plumbing then), no insulation(old newspapers for wall paper, mainly to keep the wind out). There on those summer afternoons I would visit with our closest neighbors. Lee Jackson and his family--they were all black!! That stood out in those days. That fact aside--I went to visit not Lee or his children, but to see "old Aunt Lizza".

I was fascinated by the old(I mean very old black woman). She claimed to be 105 years old at that time and that was around 1950. I mention her age and the date to show the relevance of the stories she told. She would always be sitting on their tiny porch. She was quite a sight--her black face surrounded by long stringy white hair. Her smile revealing three or four yellow broken teeth--and, oh yes, that old hollow cow horn that she would hold to her ear as I spoke. Her hearing was bad, but her mind sharp. She could really tell stories about her youth. Looking back, I think that was her greatest pleasure.
One story stands out as I reflect on those days. One afternoon, after a morning fishing trip on the creek, I found myself on old Aunt Lizza's porch. I had caught two turtles and took them up for Lee to clean--he kept one for himself and we got the other(never got use to turtle meat). That afternoon, while waiting for the turtle I listened to Aunt Lizza telling her stories. On this particular afternoon it was about her days during "slave times" as she called them. She had lived in Port Gibson,Mississippi as a teenager and she related the time the "federals" came through on their way to Vicksburg. She didn't see them as liberators, but rather as dirty and foul-mouthed--she said they burned and stole everything on the small farm where she lived outside of town. They took off her older brother to help dig trenches around Vicksburg--she said, "I never saw him again". I believe she cried.
Aunt Lizza "passed" not long after that. My grandparents and I went to the funeral. It was at a black church called Star Hill. I remember sitting in the back--we were the only white people there. The singing was load and beautiful and everyone seems so happy. It took me a long time to figure out why. Some people never do!!
Lee Jackson and his family stayed on in the little share cropped house for many years. When LBJ's "Great Society" program came into being and food stamps and welfare in vogue, Lee and family left for the small town of Liberty, Mississippi. He didn't have to work anymore and help grandfather with the farm. I saw him once after that, probably around 1969. He told me that his biggest mistake was leaving the farm and moving into town. Lee said the food you grow yourself taste better that the food someones gives to you. He seemed a sad, beaten man.
I glad Aunt Lizza spent her last days sitting on that tiny porch in the country, telling her stories. Boy, did you have to talk loud into that cow horn for that lovely old lady to hear you. Strangely, I remember the cow horn more than the stories!

The Great Totus Monument

Inside sources at the White House have now confirmed that plans have been drawn up for the construction of a new monument in the nations capital. Although, the plans are somewhat sketchy, at this time some details have emerged. Funds for the new structure will come from items hidden in the new budget proposal under the Department of the Interior (cost is rumored to be an astounding 400 billion dollars). The new structure will reach a towering 1110 ft. and 10 2/8 inches high, thereby doubling the height of the Washington Monument which reaches a height of 555 ft and 5 1/8 inches. Studies to change existing laws governing the height of structures in the nations capital are now being undertaken in secret committee meetings in both the House and Senate. It has also been learned that some White House staffers have been sent to Brazil and have approached the chairman of the DNPM, Department of Mineral Production about the purchase of the worlds largest quartz crystal now housed at the Museum of Earth Sciences in Rio de Janiero. This amazing crystal weights a unbelievable 90,000 pounds (the need for this enormous crystal in the construction of the monument remains unclear, at this time). In addition our sources have learned that contacts have been made with Tiomin Resource Inc.--a multi-national company with large holdings in Kenya. Orders have already been placed with their mines at Mambrui, Kilifi and Kwale on the eastern Kenyan coast; for vast quantities of titanium that will be needed in this monument.

Mystery has surrounded this structure. What is it going to be? What is its purpose? Will it be a great monument to America's first black president. Finally the truth is out and we have the full picture. Welcome to the "Age of TOTUS". by Ron Russell

Letter to Obama

To: President Barack Hussein Obama

I didn't vote for you, but you won fair and square. I was disappointed and heart-broken that a great American hero such as John McCain lost. In the beginning you were just a president I didn't vote for and I knew there would be another election in four years and I could vote again to try and elect my man. But you, Mr. President, have become something else now, you are not just the man I didn't vote for, but you are quickly becoming my enemy and a enemy of the state. You, sir are a threat me and to my family. That's something I cannot and will not tolerate and will do all in my power to stop your madness. You sir, are a threat to all I hold dear.

Your recent moves through DHS and EPA have convinced me that yours is a alien agenda, an agenda that's aimed at gaining complete control of all means of production and complete control of the life's of the average American, an agenda that wants to control opposition voices, an agenda that does not respect dissent, an agenda that does not respect individual rights, an agenda that puts radical environmental goals ahead of the needs of the common man. In short Mr. President, yours is an agenda of the far left, an agenda that will lead to the destruction of this great country, an agenda that will bring about unbridled social upheaval. Your path Mr. President is a road to conflict, a conflict that could erode the very foundations of this nation.

So Mr. President, you are not just the man I didn't vote for, you are my enemy. You represent something foreign, something threatening, and yes something evil. You sir, are not just a danger to me and mine, but a danger to all in this country. Not only those who oppose your radical ideology, but those who support it. Your actions, your policies, will have us all drowning in a sea of revolution. Please moderate your policies, before this country reaches a tipping point. I'm an old man now and have seen many presidents go and come, but none so radical and divisive as you. You Mr. President must moderate or face a legacy of failure and destruction. Things are moving quickly and the onrush of events will soon over take you. The time is now.

The above open letter of mine is an expression of my opinions granted to me under the rights guaranteed under the Constitution of the United States of America. I do not advocate violence of any kind. It would be a mistake for anyone to attempt this and would be counter productive in that such acts would lead to even more repressive acts by those radicals now in charge of the government. I believe there are forces in the country who possess much greater power than those centered in the White House and if Obama does not moderate his policies then these forces will put their sources into the battle. If that fails then the American people, once aroused enough will rid themselves of these alien ideas.

EPA: New Political Arm of Obama

Obama is attempting to bypass congress and the will of the American people by executive order in giving the EPA new powers that will give them massive control over over all phases of our lives. The cap and trade policies will not be passed by congress, so the intention of the Obama administration is to pass them through the EPA by decree. These proposed standards on green house gases will in fact destroy the economy of the United States. Energy prices will literally go through the roof and businesses large and small will be forced to raise the price of their products or their services to the public. The individual who must pay to heat and cool his home will be forced to pay much more. Consumers will pay more at home, much more. Consumers will pay more everywhere--the grocery store, the movies, the cafe, the fast food places, the gas station, at every turn of our lives the new Obama policies will rob us, will rob us of our lively hood and our children's future. This is not a plan for redistribution, but a road to destruction, a road to total control or perhaps a road to revolution. Yes, Obama's revolution could plunge this country into a new type of civil war, a war between the vast urban areas and the sprawling rural and suburban areas of the country. No north vs south this time. Obama is on a path to a violent revolution not the peaceful revolution he and his fellow-travelers have planned for. This is a dark picture, but sadly one that could materialize.

Hispanic Boycott

Victoria, Texas (pop. 55,000) is a town about 80 miles soutwest of Houston.

Local Hispanic leaders there, in opposition to pending Immigration Legislation, boycotted all Caucasian owned businesses in the Victoria area this past weekend as a demonstration of their economic impact on the community. The boycott was declared a success by the Hispanic community, noting that revenue in Caucasian owned businesses was down by 19%.

Business owners declared the boycott a success as well, pointing out that shoplifting was reduced by 77%, money orders sent out of the country were down by 97%, and the cost of daily clean-up and trash collection was down by 84%.

Shoppers reported that they could actually hear English being spoken throughout the community for the first time in recent memory, and customers actually paid for purchases with real money, not government debit cards.

Meximerica: Enough is Enough

After hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough. Nowhere did they sing it in Italian, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German or any other language because of immigration. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close. NOT sorry if this offends anyone because this is MY COUNTRY.

I am not against immigration -- just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'?

Rights and Sands in the Hour Glass

by Ron Russell

While commenting on an article by James on Right On concerning the Constitution and gun rights I began to think about all the rights I have seen slip away over the years. The following is the comment I left on "Right On":

The constitution is clear on gun ownership rights, but slowly over many years the state and federal governments have steadily and methodically chipped away at those rights as they have with other basic rights that we once had. Rights that the young don't even miss because they never experienced them. Sometime I see our rights, our freedoms, and our liberty's slipping away like sands in the hour glass. Once that freedom, that right is gone it does NOT return. It's gone forever and all the complaining and the moaning will never get it back. As the sands of the hour glass get lower and lower one can more easily see the change--the movement seems quicker although the rate remains the same. It's just that the remaining freedoms and rights are fewer and the loss of even one is sorely missed and more become aware of the approaching emptiness. If we are not careful this emptiness will be filled by something that is totally alien to our American way of life, something that will repress individuality, something that will stifle our remaining values, and something that will crush our children's future.

Socialism Sucks

A dreamer is someone who believes in things being better than the way they are, being perfect. Not many people have sub-par dreams. A politician is someone who seeks for personal or partisan gain. If you take a politician and a little bit of a dreamer and mix them together, you get a person such as Jane Addams or Edward Bellamy. They both believed that American society could achieve a greater degree of democratic equality and social justice. Both of them tried to make their dream come true by influencing society in different ways. They both had two different ideas about the ways and the result of this so called "American Utopia." Above all Addams believed that each person had an ability to contribute to society and that if society did not give them a proper chance to develop their skills, human life would go to ruin. Her political views are very simple to understand. She was a socialist. Dictionary.com defines socialism as any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy. It also defines it as the stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism.

Human nature simply negates all possibilities of people working harder with no rewards. The reason socialism would never survive is because human nature makes people want to be better at something than another person, hence the "class struggle. He is a fictional character who represents the working class of the time and he wakes up in the twentieth century to an utopian society. Socialism will never work because people are not robots. Lenin drew on Marx ideas and advocated them which resulted in Leninism. In his ideal society there was no economic classes. His answer was an industrial economy that was owned by the people where they shared the wealth. There is no incentive for responsibility where as capitalism offers more money to those who take on more responsible tasks.

Money or Power "Root of all Evil"

by Ron Russell
Money, "the root of all evil" or is it power thats--"the root of all evil". I think the answer in this case is both, but tilted in favor of power. These buffoons in congress who spend the tarp money, will want us to pat them on the back for building a new road. One we don't need between Podunk and Hog Hill. And a great bridge across Pigee's Creek connecting farmer Hamhock's home on the west bank to his out-house on the east bank. The creek will be a benefit in that the number of foreign bodies floating downstream will be decreased by an estimated 50%, although the over all catfish population may suffer because of their dependence on the floating turds. This has some environmentalist crying foul, the EPA nevertheless has given it stamp of approval. Saying that the benefits out-weigh the downsides. Fisherman upstream from the bridge seem to favor the construction of the bridge, those downstream are dismayed over the prospect of a smaller catch--not in just the quantity, but in the size of the individual fish. Farmer Hamhock is pleased and says," I've always voted Republican in the past, but from now on I'm Obama's man---I finally have a place to put my shi...t" end of quote---we're not completely clear as to what he meant.
