I recall a line from a poem I wrote many years ago, titled "Absurd Things" that went something like this, "Convicts on a world wide cruise and Arabs kissing Jews".  Didn't think about it at the time, but upon reflection it describes a progressive's world view perfectly.  That mythical Shangri-La found in the minds of all.  Unfortunately many seen unable to separate the dream from reality.  An affliction commonly found among academic elites and one that runs rampant on the streets of La-La Land (perhaps better known as Hollywood).

 The Evolution of Interrogation

Recently President Trump indicated he favors waterboarding to gain information from terrorist detainees.  Got me to thinking about the evolution of torture for gaining information.  Below are the stages from most effective to least: 

1.  Medieval Rack (very effective, but tiring for the inquisitors).

2.  The Nut Cracker (not to be confused with the Tchaikovsky Ballet).

3.  The "shocking" battery induced thrill of the Third Reich .

4.  Waterboarding (useless when interrogating life guards and Navy SEALS).

5.  Sleep deprivation (useless when attempting to break an insomniac).

6.  Playing loud rap music (only effective against country music lovers and totally useless on inner city brothers).

7.  Enlightened conservation supplemented with a Starbucks Latte (the preferred method of American Liberals).  

The Evolution of Liberals

Young Millennials are like new born puppies.  They try to walk around with their eyes closed.  However, eventually some will see the light of day and become productive members of society; while a few will remain forever blind.  Progressives doomed to wonder the vast wastelands in search of that mythical Shangri-La!

American's are to Stupid to know what's good for them.

THOSE ON THE LEFT IN GOVERNMENT AND IN THE MEDIA MORE OR LESS THINK ALIKE.  THE PROGRESSIVES IN CHARGE, AT THIS TIME, ARE SURE THAT MOST AMERICANS ARE TO STUPID TO KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR THEM.  THEY BELIEVE THEY AND THEY ALONE HAVE THE ANSWERS AS TO WHAT AILS THE NATION.  THE LIBERALS AND THEIR SUPPORTERS IN THE MEDIA ARE SURE THEY CAN SWAY "STUPID" VOTERS WITH GOVERNMENT "FREEBIES" OR WITH A CONSTANT BOMBARDMENT OF CHERRY-PICKED NEWS ITEMS ON THE NIGHTLY NEWS THAT SUPPORT THE LIBERAL POSITION.  ADDITIONALLY, THE PROGRESSIVES AND THERE "FELLOW-TRAVELERS" IN THE MEDIA USE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO DEMONIZE ANY POTENTIAL LEADER ON THE RIGHT WHO MIGHT BE A THREAT TO THEIR "COLLECTIVE" AGENDA OR THEIR GOAL OF FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGING AMERICA INTO WHAT THEY BELIEVE IS A WORKERS PARADISE (SOME IMAGINARY UTOPIA), THAT HAS NEVER EXISTED ANYWHERE BUT IN THE MINDS OF FOOLS.  IN SHORT, THOSE ON THE LEFT AND IN THE MEDIA SEE THEMSELVES AS MORE OR LESS LIKE GULLIVER'S HOUYHNHNMS AND THE REST OF US AS "YAHOOS" AND A DANGER TO THEIR NON-EXISTENT SHANGRI-LA.

Never before has the so-called mainstream media shown such naked political bias as in the 2012 presidential election. In 2012 Barack Obama was narrowly reelected, with naked support from a liberal media desperate to hide his failures, trumpet his accomplishments, and discredit his GOP rivals. Bachmann, Perry, Cain, Gingrich, Santorum: one by one the media took them apart using hidden-camera exposés, innuendo from anonymous accusers, repetition of harmful sound bites, and irrelevant—even untrue—storytelling. As soon as Mitt Romney emerged as the Republican Party's nominee, the liberal media went to work in earnest. They repeated Obama's campaign caricatures that Romney terrified his family dog, enjoyed firing people, and was nothing more than a willing tool of wealthy radical-right extremists. The Washington Post published a 5,400-word "exposé" on the allegation that in 1965 he may have pinned down a boy and cut his hair. Those same Post readers were then treated to 5,500 words on Barack Obama's lifelong love of basketball. Unquestionably, 2012 was the year when the liberal news media did all in their power to steal the presidential election—and they arguably succeeded. Media Research Center Founder and President Brent Bozell and MRC Director of Media Analysis Tim Graham provide the dramatic and conclusive evidence to prove this point—and show conservatives how to put an end to the leftist media agenda threatening democracy itself.
