As many have suspected it has been determined that a small North Korean submarine fired a torpedo that sank a South Korean warship killing some 46 sailors. Conclusive evidence has been found leaving no doubt of this action which occurred in international waters. What will South Korea do? The answer is simple---nothing! North Korea is a nuclear state so the south dare not attack. The Obama administration, short of its usual words will also do nothing. South Korea has been a strong ally of the United States since the end of WWII and we have treaties with that country pledging to defend it against aggressors, but with Barack Obama in the Oval Office our enemies are fully aware that no punitive action will be taken. This lack of action leaves the door open to bolder attacks not only on South Korea, but our other allies in various parts of the world.
