Falling Short(s) of MLK's Dream

SOMEHOW I THINK THIS WASN'T MLK'S DREAM, BUT THEN I SUSPECT THAT MOST OF THESE BOYS, AND THEY ARE THAT, DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO MARTIN LUTHER KING WAS AND COULD CARE LESS. WAS JUST WATCHING THE NEW VERSION OF "RED DAWN" TONIGHT ON THE LITTLE SCREEN----THE STORY ABOUT FOREIGN COMMUNIST ARMIES TAKING OVER THE U.S.  IT OCCURRED TO ME THAT IF SUCH A FORCE DID ARRIVE ON AMERICA SHORES AS LONG AS THEY WOULD KEEP THE FOOD STAMPS AND WELFARE GOING IN THE MAJOR CITIES, THEY WOULD MEET WITH LITTLE RESISTANCE.  THE RESISTANCE WOULD COME FROM THE SUBURBS AND COUNTRY SIDE, AND NOT FROM THOSE WANNABE MEN WITH THEIR PANTS HANGING BELOW THEIR BUTTS.

Yep, we've become a handout bunch for the most part. Right where the politicians want us too. I will not submit.

Have a fabulous day. ☺
