SOME HAVE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THE REAL PURPOSE OF OBAMACARE SINCE IT WILL DO NOTHING TO INCREASE THE QUALITY OF MEDICAL CARE, BECAUSE IN MANY AREAS IT WILL LEAD TO DOCTOR SHORTAGES AND HAVE LESS PARTICIPATING HOSPITALS.  SO WHAT IS THE REAL MOTIVE BEHIND THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT?  PERHAPS, JUST PERHAPS IT'S PURPOSE IS TO GET EVEN MORE AMERICANS ON FOOD STAMPS.  AFTER ALL WITH THE INCREASING PREMIUMS WE ALL WILL HAVE LESS TO SPEND ON FOOD AND WE KNOW THAT DADDY OBAMA WILL NOT LET US GO HUNGRY.  THIS DOES SOUND SILLY, BUT THEN IN SOME WAYS IT MAKES SENSE.  CARTOON BY JERRY HOLBERT

AMERICANS DO NOT LIKE  THE GOVERNMENT TO MANDATE THEIR ACTIONS.  THEY DO NOT LIKE BEING FORCED TO DO ANYTHING.  AND IT IS FOR THIS  UNDERLYING REASON THAT OBAMACARE MUST BE KILLED.  FOR THE MOST PART THE CITIZENS OF THIS NATION ARE INDEPENDENTLY MINDED AND DO NOT LOOK TO THOSE IN WASHINGTON FOR THE SOLUTION TO THEIR PROBLEMS.  THOSE POLITICIANS IN THE CAPITAL ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH THEIR OWN PERSONAL LIVES THAN THE PEOPLE'S AND MORE CONCERNED ABOUT LINING THEIR OWN POCKETS THAN HELPING THE PEOPLE.  TO A CERTAIN EXTENT THEY ARE INDEPENDENT, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME TRYING TO HERD THAT PEOPLE LIKE A BUNCH OF SHEEP, BECAUSE AFTER ALL, THEY KNOW WHAT'S BEST.  MOST OF THOSE IN WASHINGTON FORGET, THEY ARE THE SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE AND NOT THEIR MASTERS.  THEY ALL TALK THE TALK, BUT WHEN THE CHIPS ARE DOWN, THEY FORGET THAT POWER SHOULD FROM THE PEOPLE AND NOT FROM THE TIP OF SOME BUREAUCRATS PEN.

OBAMA IS PUTTING A SMILEY FACE ON THE RECENT DECISION BY THE SUPREME COURT, BUT BEHIND THE SCENE I'M NOT SO SURE HE IS REALLY HAPPY SINCE THE HIGH COURT LABELED THE MANDATE AS A TAX.  THIS DECISION BY THE COURT HAS RE-OPENED THE DEBATE ON OBAMACARE, A DEBATE THAT LED TO THE REPUBLICAN VICTORIES IN 2010 AND RISE OF THE TEA PARTY.  THOSE ON THE RIGHT ARE MAD AS HELL AND AREN'T GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE.  ANOTHER THING THE VOTERS WILL BE MADE AWARE OF IS THE FACT THAT SINCE THIS IS NOW TAX LEGISLATION IT WILL ONLY TAKE A SIMPLE MAJORITY IN THE SENATE AND HOUSE TO OVERTURN THIS MONSTEROUS ACT.  THE REPUBLICAN BASE AND MIDDLE WILL NOW BE ENERGIZED AS NEVER BEFORE AND PERSONALLY,  I THINK THE POLLS WILL REFLECT THIS IN A FEW WEEKS.  THOSE THAT OPPOSE THE "TAX MANDATE" WILL SEE THAT BY VOTING IN MITT ROMNEY AND SEVERAL MORE REPUBLICAN SENATORS THIS FALL THE REPEAL OF OBAMACARE COULD EASILY BE DONE.  VOTE REPUBLICAN IN THE FALL AND SHOW OBAMACARE AND BARACK THE DOOR!

ObamaCare and the Supreme Court

TODAY THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES, THE OFTEN FORGOTTEN, THE THIRD LEG OF GOVERNMENT HAS DECIDED TO TAKE UP OBAMACARE THIS TERM.  THE OUTCOME IS UNCERTAIN AND THE DECISION NEXT SPRING IS ANY ONE'S GUESS.  I POSE ONLY TWO QUESTIONS WILL THE RESULTING DECISION INFLUENCE THE OUTCOME OF THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND WILL THAT DECISION FAVOR THE "DEFEAT OBAMA SIDE   OR WILL THE DECISION BY THE SCOTUS FAVOR THOSE ON THE AMERICAN LEFT.  I SEE THIS AS A NO WIN FOR EITHER SIDE REGARDLESS OF THE ULTIMATE DECISION.  IF OBAMACARE IS OVERTURNED THE FORCES ON THE LEFT WILL RALLY AROUND THEIR FALLEN-FLAG (NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE), IF ON THE OTHER HAND OBAMACARE IS RULED CONSTITUTIONAL THOSE ON THE POLITICAL RIGHT WILL RALLY IN THEIR OPPOSITION AND GO ALL OUT TO ELECT A PRESIDENT THAT WILL SIGN ANY REPEAL OBAMACARE THAT COMES OUT OF CONGRESS.  A FAVORABLE RULING TO THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION MAY IN FACT, BE A DEATH NAIL, FOR THIS PRESIDENT.

I SHOULD ADD, THAT A DEFEAT FOR THE FORCES OF CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT AND INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS SHOULD NEVER BE CONSTRUED AS A VICTORY FOR ANY AMERICAN, IT IS NOT!  THE SUPREME COURT, THE FINAL GUARDIAN OF INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS, HAS OFTEN FAILED US AND UNTIL THIS PROBLEM IS SOLVED ALL OUR FREEDOMS AND INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS ARE IN JEOPARDY!

Obama's Fast Deal!

In the 1930's and 40's we had the New Deal of FDR, in the late 1940's and 50's we had the Fair Deal of Harry Truman, and now we have the "Fast Deal" of Barack Hussein Obama. With each passing day another backroom deal surfaces as Obama struggles to get his health care bill passed. The latest is a decision by the Dept. of the Interior to increase the water supply available to California's central valley in what appears to be an effort to gain the support of two CA representatives for a yes vote on Obamacare. This is only one of many deals and bribes offered to gain support for something that most Americans are against. The democrats have adopted the old socialist motto that "the end justifies the means" and have completely tossed aside any semblance of tradition and fair play. They will continue on this path as long as they maintain control in congress. They realize, full well their days are numbered and they are running against a rising tide of disapproval among voters. Obama's "Fast Deal" will continue until the Democrat's numbers in the House and Senate are decreased. He will then turn to a flood of executive orders in order to consolidate more gains and increased power in Washington with his primarily goal being that of "wealth redistribution", the dream of all true socialist leaders with them being the distributors of the stolen wealth.

If you are one of those Obama supporters waiting for that handout, or perhaps you think it is a hand up just remember one thing: he that giveth can taketh away and if anything Obama has shown he is a master of the "Fast Deal".

Saying "No" to Big Government is Saying "Yes" to America!

Democrats for sometime have been trying to label the republicans in congress as the party of "no". Republicans need to wrap themselves in that flag and wear the label proudly. Recently at the CPAC meeting in Washington, Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana echoed this sentiment when he said, "No is way underrated here in Washington. Sometimes 'no' is just what this town needs to hear". I couldn't put it better! Most Americans think that our representatives in Washington are there just to make more laws---laws that will invariably take rights or money from one group and give it to another. When you stop to think about it, this is what most laws do. Restrictions on some so that others will feel better. Money from one group to be spent benefiting another. I ask, it this the American way? Is this what we've come too? Is this corrupt practice to continue?

The simple truth is saying "NO" to borrowing, saying "NO" to spending, saying "NO" to bailouts, and saying "NO" to Obamacare is saying "YES" to America!

"Some people around here like to call us the party of ‘no.’ Well, I say ‘no’ is way underrated here in Washington, D.C. Sometimes ‘no’ is just what this town needs to hear," he said.

"When it comes to more borrowing, the answer’s ‘no.’ When it comes to more spending, the answer is ‘no.’ When it comes to more bailouts, the answer is ‘no.’ And when it comes to some healthcare summit that is nothing more than a photo op that paves the way to Obamacare, the answer is ‘no,’ " he said.

But, Pence said, it’s not enough to elect Republicans in November; they have to be conservative Republicans.
