House Republicans Call on Obama to Fire "Safe Schools Czar" Kevin Jennings

If a gay guy wants to look at my butt as I go down the street he has that right and I have the right to give him the finger salute and refer to his as queer or faggot which ever one crosses my mind first. But when that same guy starts insisting his life is more important than mine and calls for "hate crime laws" to afford him more legal protection than I have I draw the line. And when that same fellow tries to promote his life-style in our schools and generally throughout our society, I draw the line and this is what Kevin Jennings has done in the past and will continue to do as Obama's "safe school czar". In advancing their rights they are stepping on mine so I will resist as best I can. I've no use for queers and their message. For their current message is not one of tolerance, but one of advancing their agenda and their way of life and pushing it in the face of others!

Republicans today urged President Obama to fire his "safe schools czar," citing their concerns that Kevin Jennings wants to promote a "homosexual agenda" and that as a schoolteacher years ago he did not report that a young student told him he was romantically involved with an older man.

The members of Congress, in a letter to the president, called Jennings "unfit to serve" and said he should be immediately removed from his post. The letter was authored by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, who first called for Jennings' firing a week ago, and 52 other Republican colleagues.

"Kevin Jennings cannot gain the approval of parents who want their children safe and their schools drug free. You should replace him with someone who has a record of educating children in a safe and moral environment," they wrote.

Jennings, the founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, has described in writings and speeches how a high-school student confided to him in 1988 that he was having a relationship with an older man.

The student has since spoken out in defense of Jennings, claiming he was 16 at the time, which was the legal age in Massachusetts, and that he was not sexually active.

But Jennings has described the relationship as sexual, and in 2000 he said the boy was 15 years old. read more from FOX News

Queers, commies, commie lovers, avowed socialists and Marxists, animal rights (animals and lawyers) idiots and all around moonbats, that's an accurate description of the Obama administration.

When do *We, The People* rise and end this bullshit?

Obama is without a doubt a Marxist and one who favors advancing the gay agenda at the expense of others rights. This guy hates the America of our fathers and I have serious doubts he even knows who his father is.

I've never gone along with hate crimes laws. Law is law, the same law should be for everyone.

That's a creepy picture you have there. I wonder if they want to join the military. No problem if "don't ask, don't tell" is changed.

Obama has packed his administration with far left nut jobs and some fools still think he is a moderate. Some people just need to open their eyes and take a look at reality and quit giving this far left president the benefit of the doubt.

The picture was meant to be creepy Debbie, these creeps keep trying to push their agenda in our faces and I for one have had enough.

By passing hate crimes legislation and by saying that a crime committed against one of the protected groups is more heinous than if the same crime were committed against a non protected group you are putting a higher value on the lives of the protected groups. This is not equal rights and in fact is discriminatory towards members of the non protected class. How is this fair?
As for Kevin Jennings, I think that it should be up to the parents to decide what they want to teach their children about sex and when they want to teach their children about sex, the government should have no input. But this administration is going to push the gay lifestyle on the mainstream and at the earlies age possible in order to satisfy the gay community because the gays are already upset at Obama for not doing more for them.

Frankly, I'm tired of hearing about "his rights" or "their rights" all I want to hear about is "American Rights". No more special interest rights of any kind!!!!

The POTUS seems to think that he can pack the bureaucracy with moonbats and get away will appearing to be centrist. That way, all the initiatives come from the moonbat minions, not him. We're not buying it, and neither will the people.

After reading your article Ron, I have been doing some research of my own and what I have found is very troubling. It is very clear that this man has one agenda and that is to promote homosexuality to our children. These kinds of activities is one main reason why my daughters were home schooled. You might find it hard to believe, but the school at my home town, which is in Oklahoma, across the Arkansas River from Fort Smith, AR, has been inundated with homosexuals. A great number of the children in the school consider themselves to be homosexuals.

Some people have asked me why I come out so strong against homosexuality, when it is their choice of lifestyle and does not harm me. Let me say this. It is their right to choose this behavior that perverts the natural use of men and women, but it should not be their right to promote this behavioral choice to our children. They are not content to make their own choices, but rather intend to recruit the children who at their most impressionable age.

Back when Bill Clinton first ran for President, the pastor of our church had a newsletter on our bulletin board that contained a quote from none other than Barney Frank. In that quote, he said that it was a priority of the homosexual agenda to gain access to the children in public schools and show them that there is nothing wrong with homosexual activity, that it is nothing more than an alternate lifestyle. That was very troubling to me then and even more so now, as I see that agenda unfolding.

Sorry for being so long-winded, Ron. I didn't mean to steal your post for my soap box.

I use to live in Little Rock and my Daughter in Fort Smith. Great part of the country.

As for your school having many homosexuals thats not surprising as many are taught that its ok and some go into that life style just because they think its cool and its more of a fade that many will abandon in later years, and unfortunately some will not. I don't subscribe to the idea that its heredity, most is learned. I've often thought that should heredity be the prime factor, then most would die out(you know what I mean). Those people are forcing their life style down the throats of the rest of us and I for one am sick of it. I enjoy long comments, but seldom have the time anymore to leave them. I do arts and crafts and have a total of 17 blogs to contend with most are simply secondary and some are mirrors of TOTUS, where I spend the bulk of my time. Thanks for the detailed comment, it confirms what I have been hearing from other parents about our schools.
