Indignities suffered by the Disenfranchised American Turkey

Soon millions of disenfranchised Turkeys will be headed for the ovens of America after suffering personal indignities to numerous to list here.  The poor birds have been herded into the confined spaces of the slaughter house in preparation for their final trip to the ovens.  But not before they suffer the violation of their most private parts at the hands of their tormentors.  These harmless creatures were disenfranchised hundreds of years ago, by early members of Congress who refused to honor Ben Franklin's plea to make the Turkey the national bird.  Had Franklin been successful in his quest, perhaps we would be carving up baked Bald Eagle this Thanksgiving season.
