Fort Hood: A Terrorist Act

Convenience store surveillance camera shows Major Malik Nadal Hasan
on Morning of Nov. 5 only hours before he killed 13 at Fort Hood.

Like most of you I was shocked as the news came in yesterday afternoon at first we heard there were three shooters then two and now finally one, then the shooter was killed and now we find out he is alive. Malik Nadal Hasan, son of Jordanian born Muslims is a major in the army medical corp. As these reports rolled in yesterday it became clear to me that most networks were clearly restraining themselves and carefully not calling this what it clearly is a terrorist act. I have no problem in calling it that, and no I'm not jumping the gun. This man, knew exactly what he was doing and his goal was to kill as many American soldiers as he could and he accomplished his goal. The death toll is now 13 and may rise.

We will now have a trial, so look out OJ your trial will pale next to this one. It is not good that Malik Nadal Hasan lived, but we are now stuck with that and if I were a betting man I would say that the White House today is dreading the thought of putting this guy on trial. This terrorist will face an American jury and will meet his fate, but not before the spectacle is played out and his defense attorneys tell us what a fine fellow he is and all of the good deeds he has accomplished and how misunderstood he is, and finally what great service he has rendered to his country. Obama and the nation will be reminded daily that Malik Nadal Hasan is a Muslim who betrayed his country, who betrayed his uniform, and who killed his fellow soldiers for Allah and for his personal jihad. I don't want to hear anyone say this was not an act of terrorism, for clearly it was and please have no doubt of that. The White House, the MSM will try to make this a criminal act, the act of a mad man and not the work of an individual terrorist. We must not fall into this trap. So strap yourself in and get ready, for when the trial begins it will be a wild ride.

One thing for sure, this incident does not need to be sugar coated. If it was a terrorist act, that's what it needs to be called. To do anything less is a sure way of insuring it happens again.

This radical muslim was heard shouting Allah Akbar as he gunned down American soldiers according to eye witnesses. There is no doubt this was a terrorist act. Everyone seems reluctant to use the "T" word. Wake up America!

This was a terrorist attack. To call this something different would be an act of ignorance. This is so tragic... I think the United States military needs to do an extra background check on Muslims before they serve in the military. Who cares about profiling. If it can help prevent another tragic event like this, I say do it. The media is probably going to spin this as if he had PTSD. He did NOT have PTSD. He has never served overseas. This was all about him following his religion, which is NOT the religion of peace.

You are right Teresa they are already spinning it as PTSD, I heard just that this morning on Morning Joe, only show I ever watch on the Obama Network.

Of course this was terrorism. Jihad is personal. It was planned. When a soldier lists his nationality as Palestinian, rather than American, you know there is a problem.

He lived, 4 rounds in his sorry ass and he LIVED...

That only reinforces my firm belief that our police officers AND military need to carry a .45 ACP side arm, high capacity, loaded with 230gr +P high performance hollow points...

Why carry a piece of shit 9mm? If a side arm doesn't shoot a round that the 1st number of it's caliber doesn't begin with the numeral 4, it's not much of a side arm...

There is no doubt in my mind that this was a terrorist act and it urks me to no end that the media is afraid to call it what it was.
I also find it curious that the FBI was quick to say terrorism was not suspected even while the event was still happening. Of course terrorism should be suspected, along with other motives as well, the FBI shouldn't rule something out in a fluid event. I wonder if the gag order was issued by the Obama administration or if the FBI was trying to cover something up. Perhaps the FBI's investigation into this man prior to the shooting was handcuffed by Obama's policies.
While at first I was upset that Hasan lived I now think that it is a good thing. As you said, Obama probably wishes this man had died because he didn't want to see the publicity of a trial in which we learn a terrorist attack happened on US soil on his watch and it could have been his policies that did not allow the FBI to take action until it was too late.
