Edward Kennedy: Lion or Pussy!

A Real Case of Water boarding

The passing of Edward Kennedy is being felt by all---his family most of all (and I respect their grief), his friends and political associates, and finally his enemies. How one views his passing is determined by many factors to numerous to attempt to list. The 77 year old who spent over half his life the the U.S. Senate is now in the hands of his maker and will be judged by him. Historians will write his story either pro or con depending on their perspective.

The "Lion of the Senate" or the "Pussy of Chappaquiddick" is gone and will quickly fade into history. And quite frankly, history is a far better place for him and his radical ideals.

I totally agree!! The U.S. needs to move on from the Kennedy Family and their imposing their liberal views on America. I believe America has let this family have way too much influence on our society in the last 50 years. I pray for his soul also since he violated so many aspects of what the Catholic Church believes. I believe he is one reason so many Catholics today think its okay to be pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, etc. As you say, God will judge him for all his actions and inaction.

As I told hubby, it's a shame that the only way we can get these liberals out of office is to wait for them to die.

It is interesting to note that Eunice Kennedy Shriver was adamently PRO-LIFE, unlike Sen.Kennedy.

You are right about Eunice Kennedy Debbie. As for Edward Kennedy---who really knows where his heart was---he always played to his liberal supporters who were pro-choice. Then one can never look into anothers heart. Actions can be questioned, but motives well thats another game.

You are right Teresa, God will judge us for our actions and not the great things we planned to do.

Teresa, the talk on local radio yesterday was that Massachusetts was going to change the law to allow the governor to appoint his replacement and the rumored replacement is to be Kennedy's widow. Mass may not be out of the Kennedy shadow just yet.

Mr. Pink Eyes can they change the laws now on that after the fact---I always thought no "ex post facto laws" were constitutionally illegal, but then again whats the constitution.

Kennedy liked to joke "he would ask people, “have you heard any new jokes about Chappaquiddick?” "
