The auto clunker program was created to get energy inefficient cars off the road and lower green house emissions. And now the Obama Health Plan will get human clunkers off the hospital bed because they are a drain on national resources. See the parallels here. This is the socialist plan: the state is everything the individual is nothing.

On the article/blogburst I did about the clunkers, I had an email from a charity. They are begging people not to destroy these cars, the ones that are not really clunkers. There are needy people who could use these vehicles.
I've always thought it was a crime to destroy something that was still working, that someone could get some use out of.

I'm the type person, if I can't use something I give it away, sell it, find someone who wants or needs it. I donate books to the library, I take clothes etc. to the local charity. If I can't use it there is no need for me to keep it, find someone who can use it.
