THERE IS A SIMPLE TRUTH, THE ONLY DRILLING THE DEMOCRATS WILL EVER SUPPORT IS THE DRILLING INTO YOUR WALLETS. THEY HAVE LITTLE CONCERN FOR THE COMMON MAN AND HIS NEED FOR CHEAP ENERGY. THEY COULD CARE LESS IF YOU HAVE TO PAY $5 A GALLON FOR GASOLINE, IF YOUR UTILITY RATES GO THROUGH THE ROOF. THEY LISTEN TO THE RADICAL ENVIRONMENTALIST AND TIME AND TIME AGAIN HAVE SIDED WITH THEM AGAINST THE INTEREST OF THE WORKING MEN AND WOMEN OF THIS NATION. THEY HAVE BROUGHT INTO GLOBAL WARMING HYSTERIA HOOK LINE AND SINKER AND BELIEVE THOSE WHO TELL THEM THE SKY IS FALLING. THEY HAVE TURNED A DEAF EAR TO COMMON SENSE SOLUTIONS AND ARE TRYING TO DRAG ALL OF US OVER THE CLIFF TO WHAT WILL INVARIABLY BE THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WORLD'S GREAT ECONOMY. SADLY THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN HOPE TO ADVANCE THEIR AGENDA IS ON THE BACKS OF THOSE IN THIS COUNTRY WHO PAY THE BILLS---THE AMERICAN TAX-PAYER, WHO IS QUICKLY BECOMING A SHRINKING MINORITY!

Nice find on the cartoon Ron. You are so right when you say they care nothing for the common person. They are nothing more than radicals that want to control every aspect of our lives. And their using the global warming hoax to pull down the walls of the republic.
I have to second what John said. This is a travesty.
Just $5 a gallon? Try here in Britain where petrol is almost £1.20 per litre, most of it tax (3.8 litres = 1 US gallon; = $6.84 per US gallon)

Once the American taxpayer becomes a minority won't that mean we are elegible for taxpayer funded entitlement? But that means we will be funding our own entitlements, so much for that. It is a vicious circle and one we can't win.
They are going to use this oil spill to shove Cap and Trade legislation down our throats while at the same time sending our tax dollars to Brazil for their deep-water drilling projects.
Exactly right Ron. Perhaps years ago before my time, the democrats were for the working class, but those days are long gone now.

Yep, they have essentially become nothing more than dangerous parasites, always angling to steal more and more from us.
I'm a lot more worried about them running out of my money than out of oil.

That image is great, says volumes. It's only going to get worse, Obama keeps spending and spending. I wonder if this 20 billion will really turn into a slush fund. The people may not be so happy that the administration took over.
